Being safe in your community...
...one of our key aims
Staffordshire County Council recognises that environmental and personal safety is central to your experience of life, so creating a safe and attractive environment is one of our key aims.
People need to feel safe and this means developing stronger, confident and more cohesive communities.
Even though Staffordshire is generally a safe place, we are constantly working to reduce crime and disorder, tackle anti-social behaviour, domestic violence, drug and alcohol abuse and promote fire and road safety and public protection.
The county council has taken on this challenge. By working with our partners and the eight Community Safety Partnerships, as well as managing our own initiatives, we and have seen some dramatic results.
