Members Allowances
The County Council must by law publicise its scheme for the payment of allowances to County Councillors. Additionally, it must publicise, annually, the total amounts paid to each Councillor. The Scheme forms part of Staffordshire County Council's constitution and can be found as Appendix 3 to Section 3||.
Additionally, 
details of the allowances paid during 2011/2012| are also available. Alternatively, copies are available for inspection at each main library, and at Corporate Reception, Peel Building, Stafford, during normal office hours.

An Independent Remuneration Panel meet every year to make recommendations on the level of allowances to be paid to members. The Panel recommendations from 2005 are available below:-
