Occupational Health
The Occupational Health Unit provides expert advice to County Council Departments and a number of other bodies on all aspects of health, safety and welfare in the work environment. They offer advice on areas including identifying "at risk" jobs, legal requirements in health and safety, sickness absence and its effect on work, stress management, first aid requirements and health education. Occupational Health also carry out workplace assessments, identify new workplace hazards and look at pre-employment medical assessments.
