Scrutiny: Get Involved
We welcome and encourage your involvement in the scrutiny process and there are a number of ways in which you can get involved.
Scrutiny Meetings
Except on rare occasions, scrutiny meetings are open to the public and provide an opportunity to listen to proceedings. There may also be opportunities to contribute directly to a scrutiny review depending on the nature of the work being undertaken.
The Scrutiny Work Programme
You can contribute to the annual work programmes| of the Committees by suggesting a topic for scrutiny review. If you would like to propose a subject for scrutiny please download and complete the form below.

All suggestions for scrutiny will be considered by the appropriate Committee. We will let you know whether or not they agree to include the matter in their work programme.

Co-opted Members
A number of co-opted members sit on the Schools and Colleges Scrutiny Committee. There are two Church and three Parent Governor representatives. If you would be interested in becoming a co-opted member please contact the Scrutiny Officers|.
