Our careful and meticulous financial planning and forethought have made us a shining example to other local authorities and we will continue to lead the way in this area.
We are working hard to fine tune the organisation and are looking at ways to make it more efficient and effective while at the same time providing the same first class service that our residents have come to expect.
We will be scrutinising the structure of the county council to make sure that it is organised in the best possible way to deliver high quality services and facilities for the people of Staffordshire.
We will be looking at where changes can be made within the authority to enhance our provision, including working with other organisations to deliver services on our behalf if this is appropriate.
Our main priority is to provide Staffordshire's taxpayers with a service they can be proud of, is cost effective and that reflects the needs of the community
