Staffordshire County Council Publications Scheme

Staffordshire County Council is committed to the principles of "open government" - in the way we do business, in delivering our services and in how we make decisions. The County Council has regularly made information available about its services and will continue to do so.

We took a national lead on Freedom of Information by becoming a pilot authority, working with other pilot councils to develop the first local publication schemes. This present scheme is a culmination of that work.

This scheme will continue to develop and expand over time as a demonstration of the County Council's approach to "transparency" and "openness" in delivering services to all its citizens.
