Council Performance - How well are we doing?

Staffordshire County Council is committed to improvement and we want to achieve the best for our residents of Staffordshire and our employees. We believe that we can make a positive difference to people's lives through our services and the way we operate. The County Council measures its performance in a variety of ways;

• the Government sets national targets that we strive to attain;
• we set our own performance measures based on key aims and service priorities; and
• we manage our performance through responding to the results of external inspections and internal performance management processes that involve elected members and takes into account the results of consultation and feedback from residents and stakeholders.
