What is the Staffordshire People's Panel?
The Staffordshire People's Panel is a panel of around 1600 Staffordshire residents who have agreed to give some time to share their views with Staffordshire County Council.
The panel was recruited by Step Beyond - an independent expert market research company based locally in Staffordshire and is managed by the council's Corporate Research team.
Why did we decide to set up a Staffordshire People's Panel?
Staffordshire County Council wants to put consultation and community involvement at the heart of shaping its priorities for the forthcoming years, and the Staffordshire People's Panel forms the central part of that goal.
Who is on the Panel?
The panel includes residents aged 18+ from all backgrounds and areas of Staffordshire. To ensure the panel is representative of Staffordshire as a whole, people are selected on the basis of age, gender, ethnicity, disability and whereabouts they live. The panel will be refreshed with new members every two years.
