A new customer charter has been introduced for Staffordshire County Council. The charter, which sets out standards for customer service in a simple way, has been put together following extensive consultation with different county council forums, employees including customer champions, and members of the public.
The charter will be implemented in stages over the coming months and will be supported by an extensive internal training programme which is currently being piloted with the Staffordshire Highways Team in Development Services. There are some great examples of excellent customer service across the council and the aim of the charter is to build on that so we can provide a consistent level of service across the council.
