LTP Habitat Regulations Assessment
As the LTP develops, we must consider whether the LTP is likely to have a significant effect on sites designated as a special area of conservation, alone or in combination with other plans and projects within and outside of Staffordshire.
If the LTP is likely to have a significant impact on such sites, we have a duty to complete a 'Habitat Regulations Assessment' (HRA). This helps us to establish the extent of any effects and come up with plans to remove or reduce the impact.
