Do nothing
Doing nothing would create more congestion and pollution. Stafford already experiences congestion at town centre junctions.
More shops, houses, jobs and people on the move in west Stafford will add to the problem. Doing nothing could bring Stafford to a standstill.
A new road in the west would be an investment in future growth and prosperity. Without it, new business investment, jobs and homes for Stafford would be difficult to accommodate.
The maps below show how bad the situation will get.
