Neighbourhood Highways Teams
The Highways Team is taking a fresh look at how it deals with small scale environmental issues on the road network.
The team has reformed the delivery of local community activity to be able to deliver more, more often and in closer liaison
with town and parish councils and local county councillors.
And now, all 179 parishes and 41 urban wards will get a guaranteed three visits from their Neighbourhood Highway Team.
There will be 10 Neighbourhood Highway Teams across Staffordshire, and the length of visits will depend on the size of the parish or area.
Each team will deliver a service that has been designed in advance through discussions with local community representatives.
Neighbourhood Highway Teams will deal with an extended list of smaller non safety related problems.
