Considerate Constructors Scheme
The Considerate Constructors Scheme is a national initiative, set up by the construction industry, to improve its image.
The construction industry has a huge impact on all our lives, with work often taking place in sensitive locations. Sites and companies that register with the Scheme are monitored against a Code of Considerate Practice, designed to encourage best practice beyond statutory requirements.
Staffordshire County Council is a Client Partner of the scheme and its Highway Maintenance Contractor, Enterprise plc is an Associate Member.
The highway service in Staffordshire receives regular independent inspections by members of the Considerate Constructors scheme winning a number of gold, silver and bronze National Awards for those sites scoring in the top 7.5%.
