Does your driving licence contain any endorsements?

 

Before being allowed to join the County Minibus scheme, your driving history is taken into account. This may sound a little harsh at first, but considering you will be in charge of up to 16 passengers, their safety is of utmost priority.

Under the terms of the Counties Insurance policy, certain types of endorsements will preclude you from joining the scheme until a probationary period, which must be free of additional endorsements, has been served. The very serious driving offence will permanently preclude you from the scheme.

Usually, we will accept applications from people who have no more than 6 penalty points on their licence. If you are unsure whether you qualify to join the scheme, contact the Road Safety & Sustainable Travel Unit for advice:
