All aboard from the 6th September

From September 6th 2010 you'll be able to get out and about in the glorious Moorlands on a brand new bookable bus service called 'Moorlands Connect'. Right from the start it will provide a friendly and convenient 'gold service' for everyone.

Our route will be plotted daily based on your telephone bookings.  Be one of the first; register for free now on 01785 276746 before Monday September 6th and we will enter you into a prize draw with a chance to win twenty free trips and a bunch of high street vouchers.

It doesn't matter whether you're a youngster off into town with your mates or perhaps a little older and wanting to stay in touch with friends, we can accommodate everyone.  And, thanks to advanced tracking systems, we will know exactly where our buses are and will let you know with confidence when your ride will arrive.

For cyclists each mini-coach can carry up to four bikes.  For anyone a little less mobile the bus is able to kneel and provides a ramp for wheelchair users or parents with buggies. And you can easily link to existing bus services such as the 118 Hanley, Leek and Buxton, 442 Buxton to Ashbourne and 108 Leek to Ashbourne.

Moorlands Connect is managed for you by 'Moorlands Together', a group of local organisations working together to improve public services.

The service booking number 0300 111 8003 will become live from 3rd September.  Your call will be charged at your local rate from a landline or mobile network. It will also be included in inclusive call minutes and discount schemes from all major mobile phone and landline operators.
