Please be advised of the following timeframes for statutory action referrals to the Education Welfare Service.
The deadline for referrals for a Notice to Improve (NTI) before the end of the academic year is Tuesday 2nd June. Referrals received after this date where an NTI is the most appropriate course of action may not be actioned until September 2026.
Referrals where an Education Consultation Meeting is the most appropriate course of action will continue to be allocated until the end of the academic year.
However, please be advised that some will receive an attendance concern letter for a monitoring period in September 2026 before any further action is taken.
