Proposals

The following proposals made reflect the shift from the Department for Education policy for increasing, year on year, the level of capital devolved to schools and to ensure that the capital strategy supports the aims and objectives of the Authority:

  1. Removal of capital threshold levels.
  2. Taking into account a school's ability to finance its AMP Condition works from its DFC, when targeting projects for inclusion in the 3-year Planned Replacement Programme (Condition).
  3. Agreement on an enhanced method for prioritising which condition items to include in the 3-year Planned Replacement Programme (Condition)
