Helen Louise opened on Saturday 29th August 2009 in Carter Street, Uttoxeter next to the Heritage Centre. It may be housed in one of Carter Street's many historic, yet petite buildings but Helen Louise has utilised the space on two floors. It offers a large range of products offering luxury towels, bath rugs, quality bed linen, throws and cushions, duvets and pillows, bathroom accessories, basket ware, candles, aromatherapy products, toiletries, bath creamers, soaps and candles. Also a superb range of products for children and babies including baby baths and accessories, microwavable soft toys, blankets, sleeping bags, cot toys, magic face cloths and novelty soaps for plenty of bath time fun. There is a large range of gifts and items for the home as well as gift vouchers, gift cards and offers personalised gift bundles for special occasions.

Indulgence provides a warm, indulgent and relaxed atmosphere to enjoy good simple food and drink. Coffee is sourced from Land Rover coffee who use only the very finest single estate coffee bean from Costa Rica. Tea is of the highest quality fair-trade. We provide breakfast where you can enjoy local speciality Staffordshire Oatcakes or some wonderful toasted tea loaf from a highly acclaimed baker in Lichfield.
Where possible and quality allows indulgence provide locally sourced produce. Sauces for our range of open sandwiches are prepared each morning with fresh herbs. Produce as varied as cakes, oils, pies, bread, quiches and meats come from local producers. Where world class crisps and water come form producers in the town. We buy produce on quality not on price.
We provide a very refined and ethical coffee from Land Rover Coffee. I don't think you would get a happier and friendlier team in any other eating establishment in Staffordshire.
We opened the doors for indulgence at the end of August 2008 and consider we made an excellent choice in Uttoxeter. We have found the people to incredibly friendly warm and affectionate. Thank you Uttoxeter.
We are a family run business with both Sue my wife and partner and our two daughters working there. We also have and excellent team of staff who have been invaluable in providing and first-rate experience for our guests.
We have many customers who come in to the lounge on a daily and weekly business. In our short time we have been asked by guests to host special events ranging from 70th birthday parties, Hen nights, 18th celebrations, end of term bash, a christening and have hosted meetings for local groups. We have couples who involve the staff in every stage of their maternity, they come in for a coffee and share details. Its great that they feel welcome enough to share their pregnancy.
We have run several ladies pamper evenings where we have got together a selection of local traders to showcase their offerings in the town. These traders have included gift and jewellery shops, hair salons, beauticians, reiki head and back massages and foot spas to name a few. The ladies were greeted on the door with a glass of wine and champagne chocolate truffle made in Staffordshire. These nights have always been a big success with over 70 ladies attending.
Most Fridays we run speciality food evenings. These include Tapas, Italian, Greek, Bulgarian and traditional English foods. These are proving to be very popular and nearly always sell out a week before.
The building was derelict for four years prior to us taking it over and has had a full refit. Before that it has been used as a store and workroom for an antiques dealer, a store and office for Tippers builders merchants and prior to that had been a service site for Massey Ferguson machines.
Before we came to Uttoxeter we completed our research and looked at towns like Bakewell, Matlock, Lichfield, Sutton Coldfield and others. During our street surveys we fell in love with wonderful town and its friendly people. We felt as though we had been invited to come. 12 months on I can say with all certainty that we made the right decision. What a great town to do business in. Likened to a min Chester Uttoxeter is an interesting and safe place to visit.

We are a small independent retailer offering an individually tailored service for all curtains and furnishing needs.
We have an extensive range of fabrics from over 40 suppliers to give our customers the best choice on colour and designs. We believe we have the largest selection of wallpaper samples to choose from in the area and as a Sanderson specialist we get all the new collections as soon as they are released, normally twice a year.
We can now offer a large selection of high quality bespoke furniture and arrange supplier showroom visits if required. We also have a selection of gifts for the customer who is looking for something a little different.
Jacquie and I believe that we offer our customer a unique service from our free initial consultation to installation, using some of the finest fabrics available, all individually tailored to our customer requirements.
We were recently awarded runners up position in a Mystery shopping competition run by Skillsmart Retail with 96.9%. This demonstrates the level of service that we strive to offer to all our customers.

McCracken Opticians, at 11 Market Place has been owned by husband and wife team Mark and Emily McCracken for the past seven years, although the building itself is the oldest Opticians in Uttoxeter!

Chris and Rula Pelekani established the business in 1978 and since the first day of trading they have been determined to provide the
highest quality of fish and chips
to the locals. Their hard work and determination created a reputation for doing exactly that.
We are Pani and Chrissie Nicolaou, Chris and Rula’s niece and nephew. When Chris & Rula told the family they were going to retire we decided that we would be honoured if they would train us to run the shop as they have done, to continue their hard work and carry Cod’s Corner on as a family run business.
We worked by their side for around one year as they taught us the secrets of the trade. Now we are determined to keep our Aunty and Uncle’s high standards and strive to keep Cod’s Corner as the longest standing and best-run fish and chip shop in the area.
