Who can apply?
Our Skills Bootcamps are open to adults aged 19+ of all backgrounds, whether you’re employed, self-employed, or seeking work.
You must live or work in Staffordshire or Stoke-on-Trent.
For most Skills Bootcamps you do not need to have any previous knowledge of the subject. You just need to have a good level of English and have a willingness to learn.
Our Bootcamps
Our Skills Bootcamps require you to commit to 60 hours of learning up to a maximum of 16 weeks. Sessions help you to develop in-demand skills and give you practical hands-on experience.
You will receive support for up to 6 months after the course to find a job or apprenticeship, progress in your current job or find new business opportunities if you’re self-employed.
There are a range of Skills Bootcamps available, like:
Financial services, Professional Services, Digital Technologies, plus other identified need i.e Teaching assistant, Retail and Customer Service, Warehouse and Logistics and Leadership and Management.
Construction, including technical skills, engineering and civil engineering, property maintenance, carpentry and sustainability
Engineering, Advanced Manufacturing, including ceramics and green skills.
Health and social care, care management and well-being, residential childcare.
