Win fantastic Shugborough days out with My County Council
Staffordshire's residents are being given the chance to win a family season pass to Shugborough and enjoy one of the county's best days out.
The competition is part of the My County Council campaign which tells people about the county council services that they use everyday, often without realising it.
Entrants can win one of two family passes. They admit two adults and three children for 12 months pass and come also entitle the holder to a series of other discounts.
The give-away is part of the campaign's push to tell people about the events and days-out that are available across Staffordshire over the coming months.
County Council Leader John Taylor said: "One of the critical messages that we're promoting over the summer period is what Staffordshire's countryside has to offer.
"The county council is responsible for thousands of acres of country parks across Staffordshire, including around 2,500 miles of public rights of way - most of them rural footpaths which are ready and waiting to be discovered by the community.
Shugborough, which is managed by the county council, has over 900 acres of garden, riverside and woodland walks has a packed summer events schedule. It's a real jewel in Staffordshire's crown."
As well as detailing everything people need to know about Staffordshire's countryside, the new 'My county council' webpages is packed full of other information about where to go and what to see in Staffordshire this summer.
"This is a fantastic opportunity for everyone to find out how to get more from their council tax," said John.
