Newcastle Rural by-election result declared

Frank Arthur Chapman (Conservative) has been elected as the new Staffordshire County Councillor for the Newcastle Rural ward.

Newcastle Rural was the only county council ward contested yesterday. The by-election was brought about by the resignation of Bob Edwards (Conservative) in March.
