Changes announced to Cabinet and Shadow Cabinet

Important changes to both the Cabinet and Shadow Cabinet at Staffordshire County Council were announced today.

Councillor Eddie Boden and Peter Beresford have both become members of Cabinet while others have seen their roles change.

Cabinet now comprises:

Leader of the Council                                                           John Taylor

Deputy Leader of the Council                                               Robert Simpson

Children and Young People                                                   Peter Beresford

Healthier Communities and Older People                              Sue Woodward

Safer and Stronger Communities                                          Carol Dean

Economic Prosperity and Sustainable Communities              John Wakefield

Organisation and Performance                                             Eddie Boden

 

And the composition of the Shadow Cabinet is:

Leader and Corporate Affairs and Finance                Phillip Atkins

Deputy Leader and Schools Children and Families    Ian Parry                        

Community Services and Partnerships                     Neal Podmore

Performance and Organisation                                 Mark Winnington 

Highways, Economy and Transportation                   Robert Marshall

Adult Care and Wellbeing                                         Veronica Downes
