Staffordshire Arts and Museum Service run an annual Arts Grants Scheme to help fund arts activities which benefit the community and promote accessibility.
Application Forms
Grant awards are available up to £800. Please read the Guidelines thoroughly before you apply. We also strongly recommend that you discuss your ideas with your local arts or community officer to discuss your project beforehand.

Small Grants Scheme (Museums)

The Staffordshire Small Grant Scheme is designed to help museums and heritage organisations to look after their collections and to make them more accessible to their visitors.
The Small Grants Scheme is aimed at small local authority, independent and volunteer run museums, together with heritage organisations with collections across Staffordshire. Grants will be awarded to assist with projects and activities relating to the care of collections, improving physical and sensory access to the collections & museum buildings by the public and developing 'greener' museums.
Two levels of grants are on offer. A Small Grant of up to £1000 is available, together with a Development Grant of up to £2000, for which 20% match funding is required.
The programme is directly funded by Renaissance West Midlands and forms a major component of the Staffordshire Museum Development Officer Project which is also supported by Staffordshire County Council and the Museums Libraries and Archives Council (MLA).
The next round of funding will take place from April 2011.
