Grants

Staffordshire Arts and Museum Service run an annual Arts Grants Scheme which consists of two funds; the Community Arts Fund and the Development Fund. The scheme helps fund arts activities which benefit the community and help to make arts accessible to everyone.

The Arts and Museum Service also run a Museum Development Grants Scheme.  This scheme is aimed at small local authority, independent and volunteer run museums, together with heritage organisations with collections across Staffordshire. Grants are awarded to assist with projects and activities which relate to the care of collections and improving physical and sensory access to collections by the public.

More information about these schemes can be found below.

Staffordshire Arts Grants 2008-2009

Frontline Dance projecy, fundied by the Arts Grants Scheme The Arts and Museum Service fund projects which are open to all as well as projects which target certain groups or sections of the community who for a variety of reasons find it difficult to participate in the arts.  People may find access to the arts difficult for a number of reasons including geographical isolation, a mental or physical impairment, or isolation and marginalisation from the rest of the community.

We also fund and support organisations and people who provide opportunities for participation in the arts. So if you are a newly established arts group, an artist, or a prison developing an exciting project, we are interested in your activities.
