Become a library volunteer

Your Library needs you

From time to time your library needs volunteers whether you can spare an hour or a few hours, once a week, once a month or on a more ad hoc basis.

You can find out what opportunities are available at the Volunteer Staffordshire website www.volunteerstaffordshire.org.uk|

Our volunteers do not substitute for or replace the work of paid for staff, their work enhances the experiences of our library users.

Volunteering opportunities can include:

  • Lending a hand during activities and events
  • Delivering books to housebound readers
  • Helping library users get to grips with computers by becoming an IT Buddy

We value the support given by all our volunteers and want their experience to -|be enjoyable.  Our Volunteer Pledge highlights the support you can expect from us   PDF Document Volunteer Pledge| (343kb)
