Become a library volunteer
Your Library needs you
From time to time your library needs volunteers whether you can spare an hour or a few hours, once a week, once a month or on a more ad hoc basis.
You can find out what opportunities are available at the Volunteer Staffordshire website www.volunteerstaffordshire.org.uk
Our volunteers do not substitute for or replace the work of paid for staff, their work enhances the experiences of our library users.
Volunteering opportunities can include:
Lending a hand during activities and events
Delivering books to housebound readers
Helping library users get to grips with computers by becoming an IT Buddy
We value the support given by all our volunteers and want their experience to -be enjoyable. Our Volunteer Pledge highlights the support you can expect from us Volunteer Pledge (343kb)
