Books
Local studies collections contain a wide range of books about the community that the library serves, and the County of Staffordshire.
Some libraries which are near to the Staffordshire border might also have books about areas just outside the county boundary, or which relate to the historical County of Staffordshire.
The topics covered by local studies books often include: transport, geography, history, health, industry, entertainment, population, geology and archaeology.
Some larger collections also contain biographical works of prominent local people and books (including fiction) written by local authors.
