Libraries in Staffordshire are celebrating the success of this year's Summer Reading Challenge, Circus Stars, with 13,954 children participating in the Challenge and 317,631 children's items being borrowed over the holidays.
Research has shown that children who participate in the Challenge maintain their reading levels when they go back to school in September.
This year 61 volunteers helped library staff to make the Challenge a success.
