Library Reading Café on Tour in East Staffs

Burton LibraryReading Café will be touring East Staffordshire Libraries this summer.

It will visit four other libraries, including Rolleston Library on Thursday July 29 between 10am - 2pm and Stretton Library on Friday August 13 between 10am - 12noon where a bright red outdoor gazebo should provide a fresh, relaxed and pleasant environment.

Other libraries to host the Reading Café include Barton-under-Needwood on Wednesday August 4 between 11.30am - 1pm and Uttoxeter Library on Friday August 27 between 10am - 12noon.

This free event is open to any adult visitor who can drop in, have a cup of tea or coffee, and have a chat about books they like, including sharing recommendations with others. At the end of the summer, all visitors can also be in with a chance to win high street vouchers.

County Councillor and Cabinet Member for Communities and Culture, Ben Adams said: "Many people have really enjoyed this event at Burton Library, and it's great to see it being taken out around East Staffordshire for others to experience. This is a great time of year to pop along and pick up some great books to take away on holiday with you, or to enjoy in the garden!"

This regular event at Burton Library will run as normal on Tuesday July 27 and Tuesday August 24 between 10am - 12noon.
