| Wally will be hiding in libraries across the Moorlands this May half term |
Where's Wally? In the library!
From Monday 26th May - Saturday 31st May, the famous chap in a red and white striped jumper, glasses, walking stick and bobble hat will be waiting for library explorers to find him
Lovers of Wally will know how eye-bogglingly difficult it can be to find him in his series of puzzle books, so library staff are challenging local youngsters to find 10 Wally's hidden around each library across the Staffordshire Moorlands.
Every Wally will be holding a pile of books on a subject and all the Wally seeker needs to do is write down the subject of the books on an answer sheet.
Wally explorers are being told to keep their eyes peeled as they may even spot Wally in person!
County Councillor and Cabinet Support Member for Cultural Services, Maureen Compton, said: "Children of all ages love 'Where's Wally?' Even children who are not fond of reading will pick up a 'Where's Wally?' book. It can become very competitive as they always want to beat their friend and be the first to find Wally on the page!"
Wally will be hiding in the following libraries:
- Leek Library, Nicholson Institute, Stockwell St, Leek
- Biddulph Library, Tunstall Road, Biddulph
- Blythe Bridge Library, Uttoxeter Road, Blythe Bridge
- Cheadle Councils Connect, 15a-17 High St, Cheadle
- Werrington Library, Ash Bank Road, Werrington
