Reading and the web
The world wide web opens up a whole new world of reading. There are vast libraries of downloadable text that you can read or take home on a floppy disk; there are sites to help you choose a book, there are wonderful web pages devoted to favourite authors and genre; there are books which exist only on the web; you can browse library catalogues; join discussion groups or chat with authors.
The number of web sites for readers is constantly growing and changing. The links below give just a sample of what can be found on the web.
If you want to find books by choosing the mood of the book and the amount of humour, etc that you like in your reading then Which Book may be the place for you
