Caring with books

Reading is crucial

"Caring with books" is a library project to ensure that all Looked After Children and their carers have the same opportunities as anyone else to discover the pleasures of reading.  The message of the project is that all the facilities and services provided by libraries are for everyone.

Foster families and all children within that family are entitled to a "Caring with books" ticket. Books and audio books for children and teenagers borrowed on this ticket are exempt from overdue, lost and damaged charges.

Children's units are entitled to a collection of books with this ticket.
