We need to know which books published during 2007 you have enjoyed reading. So if you have read any great books this year you may be able to nominate them for the award.
- You need to be aged 11-14 years and living or going to school in Staffordshire
- The book must be written in English!
- The book must have been published for the first time in the UK during 2008
Nominations for the shortlist will end on Friday 13th February 2009.
So get reading and make your nomination!
The nominations will be counted up and the books with the most nominations will be announced as the shortlist around Easter.
You then need to get down to your local public library or your school library and read the six shortlisted books, and vote on this website for who want to be the winner.
