Eurostat - provides the latest statistical information on the European Union: free data as well as links to sources of statistical information for purchase.

Gallup - studies human nature and behaviour and helps organisations to acheive higher levels of performance, through polls/surveys, research and analysis.

Market Research Monitor  - over 2,200 top-line market research reports on international consumer, industrial and service markets, with up to date market size data, company shares, brand shares and forecasts. This is an online subscription service which is avaliable free at Shire Hall Library, Stafford.

Office for National Statistics - the official site of UK national statistics with useful information and data relating to your local area. (Includes Bi-centenary statistics for Staffordshire.)

World Bank - data and information on world development issues such as poverty, income, effects of global warming, etc.
