Computers in Libraries
Every one of Staffordshire's 44 public libraries has computers with Internet access, available for members of the public to use.
Find your nearest library on the libraries map.
Some mobile libraries have computers onboard, too.
Anyone can use the computers for free, for two hours every day.
Booking a computer
Computers can be booked in advance, if you would find that more convenient. Ring your local library to reserve one at a time that suits you, or book online.
To book online you will need the barcode number on your library membership ticket and your PIN number. Visit our Joining a Library page for information on how to become a library member, where you can also join online. Please contact your library to obtain your PIN number. The system will enable you to book a computer for one hour per day, up to one week in advance and to cancel any booked sessions. Please note that bookings cannot be made online for computers at Blythe Bridge and Loggerheads libraries, please contact those libraries direct to book a computer session.

Starting out
Are you new to the Internet and World Wide Web? Libraries can help you! As well as stocking books for beginners, many libraries offer free sessions to help you get started with using computers. Some libraries offer access to Learndirect courses and training.
You can use the computers to:
- Surf the Internet
- Send an email
- Word-process a letter or CV
- Create a poster
- Find out more about your hobbies
- Research your Family History
- Listen to the radio
- Find information to help you with your studies or homework.
Please ask at your local library for full details about computer access, beginner sessions, and conditions of use.
