Event Calendar Terms
Staffordshire County Council events calendar provides a consolidated listing of upcoming events in Staffordshire. Citizens are encouraged to submit events for inclusion in the calendar.
In addition, it also includes some events taking place outside the county involving County Council or Staffordshire based organisations. These events are subject to administrator approval.
Whilst Staffordshire County Council endeavours to ensure the accuracy and reliability of its calendar data, users of this calendar hereby acknowledge that Staffordshire County Council cannot be held responsible for incorrect or incomplete calendar information, regardless of origin, or for any negative consequences arising from reliance on information provided within this calendar.
Events Calendar Submission Information Guidelines
What events can be posted?
Events focused on public workshops, meetings, arts, sports and social events can be posted. Regularly occuring events can also be added and will only need to be added once. Only events which occur within Staffordshire (or involve Staffordshire based organisations) and are accessible to the general public will be considered for inclusion. All submissions should specify the event, dates, times (where applicable) and who the event is suitable for.
During the process of collecting your event details you will also be required to supply contact information. This contact information is not for public display and will be used for administration purposes only.
Who may submit events to the calendar?
If you wish to post events on this calendar, you need to be a registered user of the Staffordshire County Council website. If you are not currently a registered user you may
register for free here|. Both individuals and organisations (non-profit and for-profit) may submit events, but Staffordshire County Council reserves the right to limit or reject for-profit events that, in its sole judgment, are primarily sales orientated in nature and import.
The calendar administrator may decline a submission request if:

The event does not conform to the guidelines above.

The submission form is not properly completed.

The requestor does not provide a valid contact email address.

The request includes inappropriate or offensive content including, but not limited to, profanity, references to illegal activities, defamatory or harrassing language aimed at an individual or group.

Any other reason at the discretion of the calendar administrator.
Once the administrator reviews and approves the submission, the event will be posted on the calendar.
