This reprint from the Victoria County History of Staffordshire volume IV is reproduced by the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Archive Service and continues the series of reprints undertaken by Staffordshire County Council. It focuses on four villages in West Staffordshire which all have a largely rural character - Forton, Gnosall, Haughton and Norbury. The reprint covers the key elements of each village’s history including its origins, estates, churches and education in the area. For more information about purchasing a copy please visit our publications pages.
The publication also ties in with our fifth annual rural roadshow at Gnosall in July. For further information about this event please see our Events Programme.
