The Staffordshire History Day on Saturday 4 February 2012 will provide a great opportunity to hear about the research being carried out at Keele University and the University of Birmingham, from both lecturers and postgraduate students. Dr Nigel Tringham will also update us on progress on the forthcoming volume of the Victoria County History of Staffordshire, and we hope to hear about developments in archaeology and local museums.
Local history societies are welcome to reserve a table for display of publicity and publications by contacting Staffordshire Record Office. We hope to have an adviser on hand to discuss potrential applications to the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Lunch and refreshments, as well as on-site parking, are included in the individual ticket price of £17.00. For further details and a booking form, please see our Events Programme| page.
