We are always happy to provide information concerning the nature and extent of the archives in our care. Where this can be done by checking our catalogues and indexes this is done free of charge. Please see the information under General Enquiries below.
If the information you require cannot be obtained simply by checking our catalogues and indexes, but requires a search in the documents themselves, please see the information under Research Services below. Fees are charged for these services due to the number and extent of the research requests that we receive.
General enquiries for information about the documents we hold - contact details (telephone, email and postal addresses) for each of our service points:
Our standard is to respond to your enquiry within five working days. For complex enquiries this may involve acknowledging your enquiry within five days and then providing a full response within 20 working days.
Research services for specific search requests carried out by experienced staff under the supervision of an archivist. Further information on the services we provide, with downloadable order forms:
