Talks and Visits

An important part of the role of the Archive Service is to raise awareness of Staffordshire's archival heritage. To do this and to illustrate the range of subjects for which archives can be used, the Archive Service offers a variety of talks to local historical and civic societies and other groups. It is also possible for groups to make visits to the Staffordshire Record Office|, Lichfield Record Office| and the William Salt Library|

The Archive Service also runs events through the year.  Please see our Events Programme| for further information.

We are also developing online talks & exhibitions|, the most recent of which is International Staffordshire|.

Do you have memories of the wartime evacuation of children to Staffordshire?  If so the Children on the Move Project| would like to hear from you.  A series of events will be run around the county to gather information from people like you.  Further information about the project as well as the current list of planned events is available through the link above.
