Group Visits - Archives
Group visits can be arranged either to Staffordshire Record Office, Stoke on Trent City Archives, Lichfield Record Office or the William Salt Library. As part of a group visit, we provide a general talk about the work of the Service, the types of documents which we hold and an introduction on how to use the Service. In addition there will be a display of documents about your particular area or the subject interest of your group and the archivist will also talk about the documents on display. Please note that we cannot accommodate visits during the day at the Lichfield Record Office or the William Salt Library.
There is a minimum requirement of 12 people for a group visit and the maximum number which we can accommodate is 20. Organisers are asked to confirm the final numbers two days prior to a visit. If the minimum number cannot be met, the Archive Service reserves the right to cancel a visit at this point.
