Family History Club
The Family History Club was suggested as an idea by a member of staff to encourage Family Historians to meet and exchange information on a regular basis. After consultation was carried out with users of the Archive Service it was agreed to set up the Family History Club at Staffordshire Record Office to meet monthly on the fourth Monday of the month from 2.00pm-3.30pm. Meetings alternate between two different types. The first is a short talk on a family history resource by a member of Archive Service staff, followed by a question and answer session and then an open discussion/chat time. The second is an opportunity for members to talk about interesting aspects of their research.
