Access & Facilities

Parking Arrangements
There is no public car park at the City Central Library. Please see the Car Parks| page on the City Council's website for full details of locations, opening hours and charges.

Disabled badge holders may park for 3 hours without charge in on-street car parking bays and all day in off-street car parks.

Public Transport
Stoke on Trent rail station is about 1½ miles from the City Central Library. All buses from the stop directly outside the rail station serve Hanley City Centre. Please note that in March 2013 Hanley Bus Station| moved from the position marked on the map below to a site nearby on John Street/Lichfield Street (marked Car Park).  This map will be updated accordingly following the next issue of OS OpenSpace data.  Follow the above link to Hanley Bus Station for a map showing the new road layout.
