Sulyard Letter nd

This is one of a series of undated letters, probably written in the 1730s or 1740s, in which Edward strongly protests against his mother's ill treatment. The dispute appears to relate to the tenancy of a farm and his relations with his brother, brother-in-law and his mother. He accuses his mother of turning his brother against him and the language of the letters is intemperate to say the least.
