Sulyard Family - Household
Although there are few household records for the16th century, there are very detailed weekly and half-yearly household accounts for the 17th century, including accounts for brewing and grains and a daily account of wine, beer and bread used. The accounts are supplemented with household bills ranging in date from the later 16th century through to the late 18th century. Other items which shed light on household matters, such as bills for personal expenditure and household remedies, are found amongst the family's personal papers.
