George Heath page 3b

One of the items in the collection is George Heath's own heavily-used copy of Webster's Pronouncing Dictionary, which he clearly used to assist his knowledge and choice of words, and perhaps inspiring also his rhymes and scansion. It contains a note of authentication written by his brother James. As with many other items, it also contains pencil drafts of verses.
