Archive Service Budget 2007/2008
In the financial year, 2007/2008, the budget for the whole of the Archive Service (Staffordshire Record Office, including the William Salt Library, Lichfield Record Office and Stoke on Trent City Archives) was £1,310,040.

Income to offset against expenditure amounted to £137,172 which included £76,000 from the Heritage Lottery Fund towards the Sutherland Papers project. By the end of the year we had under spent our budget by £56,470 due to savings arising from vacancies and maternity leaves and some lower than anticipated central support charges.
