Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Archive Service

Across our three service points we hold a wide range of archives relating to the historic county of Staffordshire, which are available for research. Whether your interest is family history or local history we can help you to discover more about your local area or community.  We also arrange events to promote local and family history.

You can visit us at any of our three offices:

Staffordshire Record Office

Stoke on Trent City Archives

Lichfield Record Office

There are also sources for Burton available at Burton Family and Local History Centre

The William Salt Library, Stafford is run in close conjunction with the Archive Service.

From Time to Time, the newsletter of the Staffordshire and Stoke on Trent Archive Service, is published three times a year, and gives information about recent developments and news of forthcoming events.  Why not take a look?
