The Substance Misuse Commissioning Team works closely with the Social Care and Health Joint Finance Unit in managing the pooled budgets for Alcohol and Drugs; Finance performance reports are compiled and are presented to the Alcohol and Drug Strategic Partnership Board quarterly.
To ensure that commissioned services represent good value the SMCT is currently undertaking a Value for Money exercise which, when completed, will help to inform our future commissioning intentions.
