Joint Strategic Needs Assessment

This report was produced by South Staffordshire PCT and the Research Business Unit, Development Services Directorate, Staffordshire County Council.

The purpose of the Staffordshire Joint Strategic Needs Assessment (SJSNA) is to provide a multi agency view of 'need' across Staffordshire. It identifies "the big picture" relating to health and wellbeing needs and inequalities of the local population. The Local Government and Public Involvement Health Act 2007 requires that Primary Care Trusts and local authorities undertake joint strategic needs assessments.
