What we offer
Record of Disabled Children
All Local Authorities must keep a record of disabled children for planning purposes in order to predict future need. You will have to give your consent for your child's name to be held on the record and entry on the record is voluntary.
Any information about a child on the record is completely confidential and only two professionals have access to it.
If you would like your child's details to go on Staffordshire's Record of Disabled Children please telephone the G8way team on freephone 0800 093 0414, leaving your name, address and telephone number and we will send you a pack as soon as we can. You can also download a pack by clicking on the links below:

Blue Badges are for drivers or passengers with severe mobility problems and for those who are registered blind. The scheme allows badge holders to park close to their destination, but applies only to on-street parking.
You can find out more by visiting the Blue Badge| section of this website.
Transition
The move from school into adult life is known as transition.
This is an exciting but sometimes frightening experience for young people with a disability or special educational needs.
It is important that young people and their families are involved in decisions about their future and are fully supported by professionals throughout the process.
To find out more please visit the transition| pages on this website.
Transition Checklist Booklets
Staffordshire's Parent Partnership Service has produced a series of booklets on transition. The booklets are available in the Parent Partnership Service| section of this website.
